Diesel Mechanic

Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Qualifications:

• DOT physical and Fit for Duty exam required.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices, mechanical inspection tools, and supply management.
• Demonstrated technical understanding, attention to detail, and dependability.
• Effective verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with inventory control and maintaining accurate records.
• Must provide a basic set of hand tools.
• Assess vehicle condition, identify worn or damaged parts, and conduct necessary tests.
• Execute scheduled maintenance, install upgrades, control corrosion, and complete winterization procedures.
• Disassemble, repair, adjust, and replace major assemblies and systems (powertrain, electrical, hydraulics, brakes, steering, emissions, etc.).
• Conduct test drives and fine‑tune vehicle controls and systems.
• Meet federal, state, and OEM standards for safety and performance.
• Document services and repairs in fleet management software.
